Official Biography
LOWEY BUNDY SICHOL (her last name rhymes with pickle) is an award-winning children's author with an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. She is a leading expert in teaching business and entrepreneurship to kids.
After graduating business school, Lowey worked in brand management, then ran her own MBA case writing company for 14 years with prestigious clients like Dartmouth College, Northwestern University, and several Fortune 500 companies. In 2019, Lowey turned her focus to the next generation (kids!) and launched her first children’s books that focused on entrepreneurship & business.
Lowey’s nonfiction children’s books include the award-winning children’s series From an Idea to… (HMH/ Harper Collins, 2019); Idea Makers: 15 Fearless Female Entrepreneurs (Chicago Review Press, 2022); and Cookie Queen: How One Girl Started Tate’s Bake Shop (Random House, 2023). Her books have launched a movement to bring entrepreneurship education into elementary and middle grade schools across the nation. Lowey has been featured on NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox and is currently casted on The History Channel’s The Toys that Built America, season 2.
Lowey received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Hamilton College where she played softball and rugby. She lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband Adam, three children, and two big dogs.
