What is IDEA Tank for Kids? IDEA Tank for Kids is the nation’s hottest entrepreneurial event that gives young inventors (kids age 8-13) with budding ideas an opportunity to become entrepreneurs!

Why was it created? After Lowey’s book series launched in 2019, she saw first-hand the excitement kids had over entrepreneurship. And as an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Lowey recognized that the great lessons of entrepreneurship shouldn’t wait until we are adults. Kids want to and should be learning about it now! So, inspired by the hit television show “Shark Tank”, Lowey created a unique version of an entrepreneurship competition just for kids and named it IDEA Tank for Kids.

How does it work? Each “contestant” gets a chance to pitch his or her idea to a Judge who are successful executives and entrepreneurs from the community. Finalists from each Judge team compete for big cash prizes at the end. Each kid receives valuable one-on-one time with individual Judges as well as an experience they will never forget.
